My interest in self-discovery began at age fourteen, when I was introduced to Greco-Roman studies at Linganore High School in Frederick, Maryland. I became involved with both the Maryland and National Junior Classical League, where I ranked among the highest in my state in Mythology, Greco-Roman History, and Latin Language studies. At the same time, I was independently exploring systems of personality and psychology, including the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, the Enneagram, David Keirsey’s Temperaments, and Carl Jung’s four archetypal concepts of the Self, the Other, the Persona, and the Shadow.

What ultimately changed the direction of my life, however, was discovering Astrodienst’s “Short-Report Forecast” at age sixteen. For the first time, I encountered the concept of planetary transits and was struck by how closely the report seemed to describe events and circumstances from the preceding months of my life. Until then, the systems I had studied were primarily concerned with personality, cognition, and patterns of behavior. Astrology appeared to be making a much more provocative claim: that meaningful events in a person’s life might correspond with planetary positions calculated from nothing more than a birth time and date.

At the time, I had no idea what a phrase such as “Transiting Uranus conjunct Natal Saturn” actually meant, or that the associations of the planets, asteroids, and other archetypes present in the astrological tradition were associated with the mythological archetypes that I had been understanding and studying over the course of six semesters of Latin and Roman studies. I only knew that the apparent accuracy of the report raised a question I could not easily dismiss. That moment began what would become a decade-long search for an answer: whether astrology was merely a compelling interpretive system, or whether there was something objectively measurable underlying the correlations it claimed to describe.

Within that time, I began integrating what I had learned through years of independent study with the principles and techniques of Hellenistic astrology, gradually developing a practice of my own. My approach is alchemical in nature, centered on self-recognition, self-expression, and self-understanding. Rather than treat divination as a parlor trick or a means of simply describing someone’s personality and motives, I use it as a tool for self-discovery—one that can help uncover gifts, motivations, patterns, and unrealized potential that may already exist within a person without yet having found conscious expression.

This philosophy is deeply connected to the way I understand my own chart, particularly the concentration of all five personal planets within my twelfth house. Much of my work is therefore concerned with bringing what is hidden into awareness: recognizing qualities that may have operated unconsciously, understanding how they have already shaped your life, and learning how to express them more deliberately.

Together, we will explore the themes that have followed you throughout your life, examine how your natural gifts have already revealed themselves through your experiences, and identify ways those same qualities can be developed more consciously in the present. My goal is not simply to tell you what your chart says about you, but to help you recognize what may already be waiting within you—and give it a language through which it can be understood, developed, and expressed.
